🤖 6 AI Tools To Level Up In Your Life

Hello changemakers 👋

this week I’m in Shenzhen for a business trip, and I'm writing to you from a small café in Nanshan District. Every time I come to China, and particularly Shenzhen, I’m fascinated by their innovation and cutting-edge technology. Everywhere I turn, I'm surrounded by incredible advancements, and it's truly inspiring! This trip has me thinking a lot about how we can leverage these advancements to optimize our own personal and professional growth.

This city (Shenzhen) seems to live in the future

Just like that, the idea for this week's newsletter sparked. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a set of AI-powered tools in our toolkit to help us thrive in our careers and personal lives? While AI might seem futuristic, it's becoming an essential part of any successful personal toolkit. And this week, I want to dive with you into some tools that are becoming essential for anyone who wants to level up in their personal lives (none of these are affiliate links btw).

📈 Level up your personal live

  • Notion AI: Notion introduced Notion AI a while ago, and it's a game-changer for Notion users. Some of the ways to leverage its power include using it to brainstorm, summarize long pieces of text, create your meal plan for the month or help you organize your next holiday trip. Lately it became my go-to tool to improve specific elements of my life and come up with a plan on how to do so.

  • Speechify: this is a text-to-speech software that was initially designed for people with dyslexia. However, it's incredibly useful for anyone who wants to boost their reading productivity. For example, it can increase your reading productivity by letting you listen to articles and PDFs while you multitask. It offers various voices and adjustable speeds for a personalized experience, making it ideal for both in-depth listening and quick skimming of lengthy documents.

  • Taskade AI: this tool goes beyond project management. This tool offers features like AI-powered task suggestions to keep you focused or brainstorming assistance to spark new ideas. It helps me with my solo projects, but it’s also helpful for initiatives that I do with some friends, allowing me to streamline every step, from planning to execution.

👨‍💻 Succeed in your professional career

  • Wordtune: strong communication skills are essential for career success. And Wordtune takes your writing to the next level. This AI-powered tool can help you rewrite your sentences and emails, improving clarity, conciseness, and overall professionalism.

And of course this is not only to improve your e-mail writing, but it can also help with e.g. crafting a cover letter to express yourself clearly and confidently.

  • ChatPDF: given how fast the world is evolving, it’s key for your career to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new information. However, research can be a time-consuming process. This is where ChatPDF comes in.

This tool allows you to upload research papers, articles, or even contracts and have a conversation with them! Lately I’m using this all the time, especially when I need to dive into a topic that I don’t know much about yet, I get some papers from Google Scholar and then use this tool to ask questions, get summaries, and gain deeper insights from the research materials.

  • Google Interview Warm-up: I haven’t had interviews in long time, as I’ve been pretty much 10 years in my current company and most new roles I found through networking. But whenever I had an interview for my next role, I was always feeling a bit nervous due to lack of practice. This is where a tool like Google Interview Warm-up comes in great.

This platform lets you practice answering real interview questions out loud, honing your soft skills just as much as your technical knowledge. In today's remote interview world, practicing speaking to a computer can feel strange at first, but it will prepare you to confidently answer questions during the real interview.

These are just a few examples, but the possibilities are endless. Wishing you a productive and AI-powered career journey.

Cheers,
Ignasi 🚀

Things I’m liking this week 🥰

  • 📱 Tech: CMF Phone1: as someone working in product development, it's always nice to see when a company tries to innovative in a category already considered mature, like Nothing is doing. I like how their latest phone in the CMF sub-brand introduces some customisation at a great price point.

  • 📜 Article: Is Your Mindset About Generative AI Limiting Your Professional Growth?: great article about how to re-shape your mindset around the usage of Generative AI and how to use it for your benefit for professional growth.

Question of the week 🤔

What repetitive task (work or personal) could you delegate to AI to free up your time for something more creative or enjoyable?
